Description

WW2 Early Saginaw S’G’ M1 Carbine w/ correct barrel & high wood stock # 3219442

This is an excellent example of an early Saginaw (Grand Rapids) built M1 Carbine from the 2nd block of production.  Retains its original Saginaw General Motors barrel that is shiny, but a bit rough throughout, measuring under a 2 using a CMP gauge.  It has the many of its correct parts including:  cartouched walnut RSG high wood stock, TN top hand guard from Trimble Nursery Company, B-S’G’ flip sight, unmarked type 1 barrel band, SG recoil plate, Z front sight, SG trigger housing, SG dog-leg hammer, E-SG push button safety, SG mag release, SW-SG sear, SG Trigger, SG flat bolt, SG firing pin, W SG extractor.  The only two pieces that may not be correct are the butt plate and slide.  One 15 round KSG marked (Keller Brass Co for Saginaw) mag included.  No import marks.
